A YOUNG REPUBLICAN ON CITY COUNCIL
ABOUT vice mayor FARALDI
Councilman Chris Faraldi is the Ward IV Representative on Lynchburg City Council. He is a young man devoted to Christ, his family, serving others, and making Lynchburg the best city it can be.

BACKGROUND
Chris comes from a humble family. As the son of a pastor, Faith in Christ and activity in the church are strongly integrated with daily life. Chris' sister, Kara, is a Theater Education Teacher in Charlottesville, Virginia. His parents, Joe and Pat, reside in Barnegat, New Jersey, where Joe's ministry at Bayside Chapel continues to this day.
CAREER
A two-time graduate of Liberty University, Chris has earned a Bachelor of Science in Government and a Master of Arts in Business.
Chris is no stranger to public policy and political work. In the past, he has been employed by Congressmen Bob Goodlatte and Tom Garrett, Senators Chuck Grassley and Ted Cruz, the Virginia House of Delegates, as well as the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance as Director of Government Relations.
Currently, owns and operates a small digital marketing and consulting business.

CAMPAIGN
Due to lockdowns and shutdowns for the better part of 2020, the Faraldi campaign had to get creative by bringing 21st-century campaign strategies to Lynchburg. This enabled Chris' conservative message to spread throughout the district and the city at large in strong form.
Even during the height of the COVID-19 narrative, Chris was elected in 2020 with over 61% of the vote, securing the most votes for a single candidate in the history of the district.
Chris' term began July 1, 2020, and will be until December 31st, 2024.
THE FAMILY
After two years of dating, Chris proposed to Rachel on December 4th, 2021.
From Salem, Virginia, Rachel came to Lynchburg via Liberty University where she studied graphic design and marketing. After owning a photography business, she decided to return to school so she could "help" people. Two years later, Rachel graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and currently works in the Emergency Department at Roanoke Memorial.
Chris and Rachel will be married in April of 2023.
Together, they both enjoy traveling, uncovering the next eatery, playing board games, cheering on the Liberty Flames, and daily loving on a seven-year-old rescue from the Lynchburg Humane Society named Duke.
