Meet Chris Faraldi

A YOUNG REPUBLICAN ON LYNCHBURG CITY COUNCIL

First elected to City Council in 2020 at the age of 25,  Chris Faraldi is the Senior Republican on Lynchburg City Council.

Chris has called Lynchburg home for over a decade. After coming to Lynchburg for his collegiate years, Chris began laying down roots, making the Hill City his home.
 

Currently, Chris is a REALTOR® with a local brokerage. He also operates a small digital marketing and consulting business.​ He is a two-time graduate of Liberty University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Government and a Master of Arts in Business.

As the son of a pastor, Faith in Christ is an integral piece of Chris' life. From first serving Lynchburg as a District Representative for Congressman Bob Goodlatte, to now as a member of City Council, Chris' heart for the city and its region is evident, derived from a daily dedication to seeking the face of the Lord. 
 

Chris is no stranger to public policy and political work. Throughout his career, Chris has been employed notable conservatives, such as Congressmen Bob Goodlatte and Tom Garrett, Senators Chuck Grassley and Ted Cruz, as well as multiple members of the Virginia House of Delegates. He also served the local business community as the Director for Government Relations at the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance.

Recently, Chris was also a full-time staff-member for President Trump's 2024 Presidential Campaign in Virginia.

Chris married Rachel in April of 2023. From Salem, Virginia, Rachel came to Lynchburg via Liberty University where she studied graphic design and marketing. After owning a photography business, she decided to return to school so she could "help" people. Two years later, Rachel graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She serves in the Emergency Department at Roanoke Memorial & Operational Room in Lynchburg General. 

Together, they both enjoy traveling, uncovering the next eatery, playing board games, cheering on the Liberty Flames or Lynchburg Hillcats, and daily loving on a rescue from the Lynchburg Humane Society named Duke. 

Chris' current term runs through December of 2028.​
