Contact Information:
Phone (call or text): (434) 515-2167
Sample Ballots:
1) The primary need for volunteers on election day for our campaign is to hand out the Approved Sample Ballots for the Republican Party of Virginia.
2) The secondary need for volunteers on election day is to report anything out of the ordinary.
If you see anything of concern, even something small, report it by texting a picture or video to (434) 515-2167. Again, text a picture or video.
Once you've done so, then call the number above and report what happend. It is critical any questionable activity is recorded.
Resources:
Each polling place will have Approved Sample Ballots from the Republican Party of Virginia, Faraldi literature, stickers, water and snacks.
There will be a box at each location containing these items. If you need more of any, call the number above.
What To Bring
Here are some items you may consider bringing:
- Lawn Chair
- Sunglasses or Hat
- Personal Water Bottle
- Cell Phone
- Comfortable Shoes
What To Say
Script: "Hello, thank you for voting today. Would you like an approved sample ballot by the Republican Party of Virginia?"
NOTE 1: For a variety of reasons, strongly emphasize the underlined language above. We are asking you to stay on this script. Make sure you say "approved sample ballot by the Republican Party of Virginia."
NOTE 2: Your approved sample ballot will have a NOTICE saying, in part, that only those on your sample ballot are the official nominees of the Republican Party of Virginia. This is true, and if questioned about other sample ballots at the polls or who is the Republican on the ballot, refer them to this NOTICE.
Directives From The Faraldi Campaign
1) You will see other campaigns be very aggressive with handing out literature or other sample ballots (walking out into the street to pressure voters into taking handouts/or into talking about their candidate). It is our campaign's policy to NOT follow suit. We will be kind, professional, and welcome those coming in to vote, sticking to the script.
2) Some voters may not be receptive and respond poorly to your handing out approved sample ballots; this is unfortunately the nature of the beast. Please, don't take it personally, smile back, and thank them for voting.
3) Comply with all directives from Precinct Chief's and Electoral Board members. If some directive from these individuals is questionable, call the number above.
